Paul Kelly is one of two senior, named partners of our firm. Paul obtained his Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University (St. Patrick's College division) and graduated from the University of Ottawa Law School in 1973. Since being called to the Bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada Paul has practiced extensively in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, estate planning, corporate and family law. He also provides mediation services for people who desire an alternative to judicial determinations of family legal matters.
Paul is a sports enthusiast having coached hockey and baseball (just as his father did). Paul enjoys playing hockey, racquetball and golf no matter what the season.

Ted Manthorp is one of two senior, named partners of our firm. Ted graduated from the University of Ottawa Law School in 1973 and has practiced extensively in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, estate planning and corporate law since being called to the Bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1975. Ted's clients range from individual home owners to national corporations.
Ted is an avid singer and member of a local chorus and quartet singing barbershop style.

Susan Arlitt lives and works in the Ottawa area, although her work for clients sometimes takes her to outlying areas, such as Brockville, Smiths Falls, Kingston, Perth, Pembroke and Renfrew. Susan attended law school at University of Ottawa, graduating in 1985. She was called to the Ontario bar in 1987, and to the BC bar in 1991.

After graduating from the University of Ottawa Law School in 2003 with both common and civil law degrees, Ms. Heaphy completed her articles with a sole practitioner in Ottawa. Upon being called to the Bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2004, Ms. Heaphy opened her own very successful real estate law firm on Bank Street where she practiced for a number of years before joining Kelly Manthorp as a partner in the fall of 2008. Elisha M.E. Kelly is originally from Pontiac County, Quebec and she is fluently bilingual. Following her Social Sciences degree, she successfully completed both her LL.L. and her LL.B. designations from the University of Ottawa. Called to the Bar in Ontario in 2006, she has practiced in the areas of family law, civil litigation, real estate and wills and estates.
Elisha currently provides services in the area of residential real estate, namely purchases, sales and mortgages.
